AMEURUS (America-Europe-Russia)
Launched in 2001 to facilitate the normalisation of diplomatic, economic and cultural relations through structured high-level dialogue between America, Europe and Russia, the AMEURUS Initiative is based on the assumption that a privileged arc of cooperation from Vancouver to Vladivostok is a condition for stability in a globalised world.
Consisting of high-level policy meetings of the European Strategy Group and targeted policy briefings with leading figures such as Chancellor Merkel and Dr. Kissinger, the initiative works to develop critical relationships, shift the normative debate and generate fresh, long-range thinking in the interests of mutually productive engagement.
