11th Meeting of the European Policy Planners' Network (PPN)

A focus on lone actors

The 11th meeting of the European Policy Planners' Network on Countering Radicalisation and Polarisation (PPN) took place in The Hague.

Hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice, the meeting focused on the importance of recognising and combating the threat posed by lone actor extremists, and the training of front-line workers to deal with this threat. Thirty-five government officials attended, representing  PPN member countries as well as the United States and Finland.
