CEDAR- City Circle Joint Event

'European Muslim Women of Influence'

25 February 2011
London

Following the success of the European Muslim Women of Influence Awards in Madrid last October, City Circle and CEDAR hosted an evening of inspirational stories with two of the shortlisted women, Sabina Iqbal and Rabia Malik.  They discussed the social and personal challenges they faced as Muslim women and what helped them overcome the hurdles they faced, as well as their hopes for the future. Nabila Ramdani, a leading French journalist, was originally billed to attend but was called abroad at short notice to cover events in North Africa.
