CEDAR and Phoenix Networks Media Training
Held in cooperation with the US Media Hub
4 - 5 May 2011
Brussels
In collaboration with the US Media Hub in Brussels, and with its generous support, a two-day training session in messaging, communications and on-camera skills was organised for members of the ISD-facilitated CEDAR (European Muslim Professionals) Network and Phoenix, the Inter-Community Initiative for a New Centre Ground.
Participants received professional feedback on their on-camera presentation and on how effective messages were transmitted to 'TV audiences' during the mock interviews. This training will enable them to further develop messaging for their networks as they seek to promote new narratives in the field of intercommunity relations.
