Prevented from attending the initial expert meeting in April because of the Icelandic volcanic ash crisis, the German participants and ISD staff met alongside representatives of the Vodafone Foundation Germany and the British Council in order to make their contribution to the shaping of the methodology. It proved to be a highly productive meeting with useful insights which will ground the project as it moves forward.
