10th Meeting of the European Policy Planners' Network (PPN)

Home Office, London

15 - 16 November 2011
London

The 10th meeting of the European Policy Planners' Network on Countering Radicalisation and Polarisation (PPN) took place on 15-16 November and was hosted by the UK Home Office in London. Representatives from six European countries and the United States of America attended and discussed, amongst other things, the varying approaches to preventing radicalisation.

The Policy Planners' Network is made up of the security and integration ministries of eight European countries: the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and Spain. Set up in 2008 and facilitated by ISD, it provides a mechanism for streamlining and systematising the sharing of information on policy, practical implementation and best practice in the field of countering radicalisation and polarisation.
