RAND Policy Analysis Workshop
Exploring Drug Policy
15 - 19 March 2010
Cambridge
The Public Policy Analysis Workshop conducted in cooperation with RAND Europe aims to provide an in-depth training on policy formulation and critical analysis including group case study work designed for team-building and the development of joint endeavors amongst Weidenfeld Scholars.
The aim of the five day workshop is to provide scholars with a clear understanding of how to plan and structure a piece of empirical research for policy makers seeking to address a major societal challenge. The 2010 workshop will focus on International Trafficking and Illegal Markets. Scholars will analyse how changes in drug policy, including potential legalisation, might impact other illegal markets such as human trafficking.
It is hoped that this will be the first of an ongoing series of annual Workshops, covering a range of Public Policy issues.
