The Weidenfeld Scholars
To date 113 Scholars have taken part in the Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme. They are an increasingly diverse group, originating from 37 countries, with new Scholars from Kosovo and Yemen joining the 2012-13 cohort. The group studies a wide variety of subjects in 25 different departments.

Isaac graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Pomona College in California with a BA in International Relations (2010). In 2010-11, he worked as a Programme Development Fellow in Ahmedabad, India, where his responsibilities included developing modules for the training of facilitators in disaster risk reduction, conducting impact evaluations of international development projects, and managing a public health project in Burma. As part of his undergraduate studies, Isaac spent six months at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he taught and managed courses in advanced English language for refugees from Sudan and Eritrea and coordinated a refugee interview project with Amnesty International and Activists for Asylum in Israel and Egypt. Isaac’s ambition is to work in the field of alternative dispute resolution, focusing on environmental conflict mitigation in the developing world.
