The Weidenfeld Scholars
To date 113 Scholars have taken part in the Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme. They are an increasingly diverse group, originating from 37 countries, with new Scholars from Kosovo and Yemen joining the 2012-13 cohort. The group studies a wide variety of subjects in 25 different departments.

In 2009, Andrey graduated with a first class Magister Juris as a Weidenfeld Scholar in Oxford. Previously, he graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law at Lomonossov Moscow State University in 2007. He has worked as a lawyer both with German and Russian law firms. His specialisation is civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution, particularly international commercial arbitration. Andrey is currently working at the Law firm Monastyrsky, Zyuba, Stepanov & Partners. He speaks Russian, English, German, French and Italian.
