The Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme This Programme cultivates the leaders of tomorrow, mostly from transition and emerging economies. The Programme has mainly focussed on Europe’s wider neighbourhood, including Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Russia, the Middle East and North Africa. It enables outstanding university graduates and young professionals from these regions to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford combined with a comprehensive programme of leadership development, long-term mentoring and networking.
The Leadership Programme provides the Scholars with the knowledge, skills and networks to contribute effectively to public life in their countries of origin and to build lasting professional linkages across cultures and continents.
