Leadership Programme
A special feature of the Weidenfeld Scholarships is the Leadership Programme, which fosters the intellectual and professional development of the Scholars and facilitates a network of future leaders. It does this through a diverse range of activities including:
-
An intensive Annual Leadership and Public Policy Seminar event where emphasis is placed on critical thinking... More
-
An Annual Study Tour, which aims to provide the Scholars with first-hand experience of national and international institutions...More
-
A series of discussions, the Weidenfeld Debates, offers an annual programme of public policy debates, organised by the Scholars... More
-
These specific activities are complemented by a range of additional professional development and team building activities... More
Overall the programme provides Scholars with the knowledge, skills and international networks necessary to contribute optimally to public life in their countries and regions of origin and to build lasting professional linkages across cultures and continents. All main Leadership Programme activities are compulsory for Weidenfeld Scholars.
